Blackbelt in Blackjack: Playing 21 as a Martial Art
Another book from the hand of a blackjack giant is Blackbelt in Blackjack: Playing 21 as and Martial Art by Arnold Snyder. A huge advantage of this publication is the classification into three sections, which can be described as beginner, advanced and professional. These sections are named in the style of karate, mastering each of them is rewarded with an imaginary belt of the corresponding colour. In the first section, “Earning Your White Belt,” Snyder discusses the most basic strategies and card counting. In the second category, called “Earning Your Green Belt”, it focuses on more complex procedures during card counting and its subsequent involvement in the game.
